Mandy Harvey has an incredible gift.

The 29-year-old college graduate has captivated the America's Got Talent judges and viewers the world over with her angelic voice -- and her moving story.

At 18, Mandy began to lose her hearing due to a connective tissue disorder, and as result, quit her singing career. She almost gave up until she sought the help of her music coach, who quickly changed her mindset.

She began relearning music notes by paying close attention to visual cues and feeling the music vibrations through the ground.

"That was incredible," Simon said. "The vocal, the song, the delivery, the performance was about as good as I've ever seen or heard on one of these shows. It was honestly breathtaking."

Along with her stunning vocals, Mandy also signed the lyrics while she was singing.

Simon continued, "I'm gonna say this because I think other people are going to be thinking this: This reminds me of the first time I ever heard Adele sing, and I remember thinking, 'This girl is gonna be a star.' And that’s exactly how I just felt."

With five spots remaining in the finale, Mandy took to Twitter following her performance, where she appealed to her fans.

"My goal with music is just to make people smile and make people happy," she recently told an outlet in her home state of Colorado. "I do this for other people I really want to encourage other people."
