Speaking with Variety about the Time's Up movement and her involvement, the Beauty and the Beast star noted that her experience was "not unique," and was indicative of a wider and much more systematic problem.

"It's amazing because I have experienced the full spectrum [of harassment]," she told the publication.

"But I think that for me, what is amazing is that my experiences are not unique, the experiences of my friends are not unique, the experiences of my colleagues are not unique," she continued. "This issue is so systemic, structural."
